Hi everyone! I'm really excited for today's post, I've always wanted to try the Essie Gel Couture line, not only for their super fun bottles but because they promise to deliver long wear and gel like shine without the need of a UV lamp or the hard removal after. The line has 50+ shades to choose from and you don't need a base coat, only the color and their platinum grade finish Top Coat. All polishes have a wide arched brush that allow you to get as close to your cuticles without drowning them in polish and also the stem of the brush is twisted as the bottles which I though was so unique and amazing. Their Enchanted collection is a line of 6 polishes with soft and sweet shades for spring. I love them all at first sight event though I was a little hesitant about Princess Charming cause those tones don't look good on my skin tone. Check them out below. You can get them at www.essie.com/gel-couture Daring Damsel: This is a metallic champagne gold, the formula was great, I only needed two coats for full coverage and the brush strokes aren't all that obvious. Be careful not to shake the bottle too much or you might get bubbles during the application. Pics below are 2 coats + the Essie Platinum Grade Top Coat. Matter of Fiction This is the perfect pale pink for a barely there mani, it reminds me a lot of ballet slippers, the formula was great, a bit sheet like these polishes usually are but the coverage was great with 3 coats. Pics below are 3 coats + the Essie Platinum Grade Top Coat. Princess Charming Initially I though this was a pink for my mom or my grandma, a little dated. I did wore it for a couple of days and it grew on my, only concern is that it might not be right for my skin tone. Other than than is a perfect shade, application went smooth as butter and it didn't chip at all. Pics below are 2 coats + the Essie Platinum Grade Top Coat. ** These polishes were sent to me compliments of Essie as part of the #PreenMeVIP program. All posts and comments reflect my own opinion after trying the polishes. Thank you for reading!Hi guys,
I have this gorgeous silver polish to show you today. Dreaming of Gleaming is a metallic silver polish that dries close to a mirror finish, it's super pigmented so it's perfect for stamping as well. For this design I used a What's Up Nails Vinyls and Morgan Taylor's Don't Toy with my Heart and Plum-thing Magical. Hi guys,
I have this gorgeous blue shade from Morgan Taylor to show you, I thought the name was appropriate since we just had a huge cold front in Atlanta and it's still quite cold out. For this mani I used the Cici&Sisi 04 plate to stamp the pattern and silver and gold polishes. Hello everybody!
Another day, another Morgan Taylor shade to show you. This one is a particularly beautiful metallic red with some golden shimmer going through it, if you're a fan of reds this would be a perfect addition to your collection and a must for the holiday season. I added some snowflake stamping to it with Moyou London's Festive 32 plate and Morgan Taylor Dreaming of Gleaming from the same collection. Hi guys!
Today I have the second polish from Morgan Taylor's Little Miss Nutcracker collection. Just Tutu Much is a golden metallic shimmer, the formula was amazing, almost a one coater like I've been finding all of these polishes to be. For the design I though I'd try something to resemble a nutcracker so I used the Cici&Sisi10 plate for the stamp with Baby it's Bold Outside, I added the red details with Don't Toy with my Heart and the silver buttons I made with a dotting tool and Dreaming of Gleaming all from Morgan Taylor. Hi all,
I recently received the Morgan Taylor Little Miss Nutcracker collection from Preen me and I was so excited, I've been looking at pictures of the polishes for the longest time and they all looked so pretty, besides I'm obsessed with the nutcracker. The first color is this plum with really deep golden shimmer that makes the polish look so magical. Application was surprisingly good, almost a 1 coater, I still used to coats to make sure everything was even. For the stamp I used Moyou London Festive 54 plate and Morgan Taylor Dreaming of Gleaming from the same collection. Hi all,
I have the last polish I bought from China Glaze's Holiday Collection today, I'm not a big fan of red polishes but they're a must for the holiday season and I can always make an exception if it involves a jelly based glitter. This polish reminds me of Ruby Pumps with the exception that it has different sized hex glitter, sadly I don't have my bottle of Ruby Pumps with me to make a comparison. For the stamp I used Moyou London's Princess 12 plate. Hi guys!
I have another China Glaze Christmas polish to show you, this is Big Hair & Bubbly and as the name states, it's a champagne colored glitter mix. It has a clear base and different hex sizes mixed together. Application was easy enough, this is one coat regular and another sponged. I added the blue stamp using the Moyou London Typography 03 plate. Hi all,
I have another polish from China Glaze's Glam Finale Holiday collection, one of my favorite green polishes from all time is from a China Glaze Holiday collection so I was excited when I saw this one, I thought I might've found another fave. So far I like it, it dries matte which is not my finish of choice but once you add a top coat you can see all the pretty shimmer in it. For the stamp I used Moyou London's Tropical 14 plate and Havana Pearl stamping polish. Hi guys,
I'm back after a little vacation I took last week for my birthday. I'm really excited to show you the few polishes I got as presents. The first one is ILNP Paradox, I've been dying to try their polishes cause they're always so beautiful but I didn't want to spend that much money on one bottle so my husband got it for me. This is a clear base polish packed with multi-chrome flakies and tiny holographic specs. I added an extra holo stamp cause you can never have too many sparkles. |
