Hi guys,
Today I have a lovely polish and design perfect for the summer time (I meant for that to rhyme). Nothing's better about the summer than being by the water and this polish reminds me exactly of that with the sparkly aqua shade. I added a pineapple accent nail using the Moyou London Tropical 09 plate, and a few different stamping polishes for the decal and accent leaves. I really like how it turned out, I just wish the green was more intense so it's not as similar as the yellow waves. What do you think? Hi all,
Being that today is 5 de Mayo and all and since I didn't remembered until it was too late I decided to go with a colorful tropical manicure. This was inspired by the picture of a bathing suit I saw from Victoria Secret. As base color I used this super sparkly black polish from Essie called Tribal Text-Styles, it has that type of small flakies shimmer that makes it look almost metallic and gorgeous. This was 2 coat. Hi guys,
About a month ago I got both of the Essie Silk Watercolor mini sets, that include their line of sheer jelly's that you can layer and mix for different colors and I've been dying to use them for a same color gradient. I finally gathered the courage and went with this glitter+jelly layer combo. First I used my glitter as base, this was as close as silver as I found on my stash, then I layered the jelly color on my nails, one coat covering 1/3rd of my nail, second coat covering 2/3rd and the third coat covering my whole nail to give it a bit of a gradient. Finally I added a black wavy stamp with the BM 201 plate. Hi all,
Today I have a beautiful mint pastel to show you from Essie, this was from their Spring 2014 collection but I just got around to buying and I love the color, it's a really cool minty shade with some crystal shimmer going on. It is definitely more noticeable in the bottle than in the nail but it still gives it a fresh look. Application was a bit tricky, the polish is a bit sheer so you need at least 3 coats and it can get patchy as well, so a light hand and thicker coats might help. I still love how it looks so I can deal with the extra effort. Hi all,
Spring is in the air after last week's storms on the east coast so I'm ready to rock flowery and colorful manicures, for this one in particular I found inspiration from an image online but I can't remember if it was a wallpaper or a pattern on a dress so please forgive my really bad memory. The base color for this is the lovely OPI Spoken from the Heart from the Hello Kitty collection, as you can see from the bottle it's a hot pink jelly, stamped with Essie Good as Gold and the BP 73 plate (Born Pretty Store). The roses were colored in with OPI Breakfast at Tiffany's and Barielle Smarty Pants Pink. Hi all,
Last week I received the Essie Spring 2017 collection courtesy of Preen Me and I was super excited, the colors are beautiful, way bolder than what I expect for spring which is usually pastel shades. There's a little bit for everyone from grass green to several shades of pink to cover all the bases. Hi all,
This post was supposed to go live on Tuesday but unfortunately I had a few interesting days that prevented me from writing the details and setting it live so here it goes. If you haven't seen the first part of the collection, you can find it here. Now onto the polishes. Hi guys, Can't believe Christmas is on Friday already but I'm proud to say that all my presents are bought and wrapped, so in honor of that I bring to you a fun manicure to go with it. I made all designs as decals cause I was too lazy to paint my nails, ao I just painted all in the stamper and then added some base coat to my nails for the designs to stick. I kind of like that technique, no need to worry about screwing up my nails before they dry cause it's all happening in the stamper, makes me feel like I'm being more time efficient. For this design I used a couple of stamps from the Moyou London Festive 06 plate, MDU Reddish and WnW White. The glitter accent is from Essie but I can't remember the name cause the sticker fell off (sorry). Thank you for reading!!
Hi guys, Haven't had much time to do mu nails lately so I just did a quick design just so I don't have a plain color in them and cause I wanted to try this plate with a subtle color combination. The base color I used is Parka Perfect from Essie, and I stamped the design with MDU Pastel Blue and the Moyou London Fashionista 14. Hope you liked this simple design, I promise I have new things planned for the future.
Thanks for reading ♥ Hi guys, I'm so excited for this tutorial, it wasn't planned, the idea came to me while I was sorting through my stamping plates.
