Hi guys,
I have the second polish from OPI's Iceland collection to show you. This is the one I was most excited about cause it's just the perfect blurple with multi-chrome shimmer that you need on your nails. Since the name references northern lights I thought I give it a try at some nail art inspired in that and this is what I came up with, it looked a bit different in my head but I still like it. For the stamps I used the Moyou London Scandi 05, the mountain color is OPI Check Out the Old Geysers. Hi guys,
I received the OPI fall collection called Iceland last week and I couldn't be more excited. There was one color I was dying to try but I'm also enjoying playing around with colors that are out of my comfort zone, specially browns that you'll see on my next posts. The first one I tried is Check Out the Old Geysers, it's a dusty light blue with some cerulean shimmer that's barely visible but still there. I added some plaid stamping with the Moyou London Hipster 06 plate and the Pumpkin and Gold Espresso stamping polishes. It reminds me of a cozy scarf or fall coat. What do you think? Happy Friday!
I did a little experiment with yesterday's nail polish, I've been looking at a lot of pretty rings on etsy made out of resin with gold flakes suspended inside and I though it would look amazing as a design on your nails. For this mani I used China Glaze Cutie Mark The Spot as the base color, then I added some gold flakies from OPI The Man With The Golden Gun, I did a little bit of placing with a sponge as well cause I wasn't getting enough from the brush, then I added a coat of Essie Pen & Ink which is a jelly from their Silk Watercolor collection. I repeated the process one more time and added a final coat of flakies on top and voila! I am now obsessed with how this looks and I want to try it in every color. Hi guys,
Today I don't have a new mani for you, just a couple of quick swatches from this beautiful off white color from OPI's Soft Shades collection 2016 called It's in the Clouds. I love whites like these where there's something different, whether is a little tint or sparkle cause they make it more fun and they're usually quite flattering for everyone. For these pics I used 3 coats and no top coat, I couldn't think of a stamp to go with it cause it was just so pretty by itself, check it out. Hi all,
Spring is in the air after last week's storms on the east coast so I'm ready to rock flowery and colorful manicures, for this one in particular I found inspiration from an image online but I can't remember if it was a wallpaper or a pattern on a dress so please forgive my really bad memory. The base color for this is the lovely OPI Spoken from the Heart from the Hello Kitty collection, as you can see from the bottle it's a hot pink jelly, stamped with Essie Good as Gold and the BP 73 plate (Born Pretty Store). The roses were colored in with OPI Breakfast at Tiffany's and Barielle Smarty Pants Pink. Hi guys,
I've been wearing this mani for almost a week (that's definitely a record for me) and I took pictures days ago but haven't gotten around to post anything, so before Valentine's Day is over here you have my second design of the holiday. For this mani I just did a 3 colored gradient using Nubar Pink Lily, Butter London Cake Hole and OPI Coca Cola Red sponged over Wet n Wild White. For the stamp I used MDU Black and Moyou London Mandalas 04 plate. I know mandalas are not valentine's "themed" but there are some hearts in there :) Hi guys!
I have my first design for New Years Eve, I've actually done this design before and I loved it but I never got around to taking a picture and post it, so I decided I'll give it a try again cause it's just so fun for a party. The first thing I did was to paint my nails black, it's a great base color when you're doing a metallic gradient cause it makes the colors pop, then I used a bunch of L.A Girl metallic polishes for the vertical gradient, 2 different colors on each nail using a sponge. Finally I stamped some serpentines using the BM-H14 and OPI Push and Shove. Hi guys, I have my first official fall mani on the blog today, as much as I love bright colors I've been more inclined to dark or subtle dusty shades lately and I'm glad I can start wearing them now that it makes sense. For this design I used OPI Get Cherried Away from the Coca Cola collection and added the leafy decals from the Cici&Sisi26 plate. The stamp was made with MDU Bones and colored with Kleancolor Metallic Yellow and Butter London Marbs. I wish the intricate design of the leaves would show up more on the stamp, I guess the color I used for it is too light and blends with the metallic, I still like the combination of colors. What do you think? I'm definitely gonna try more dark colors now, cause I'm fair skinned and they make my nails pop. Or so I want to believe...
Thanks for reading <3 Hi guys, I have a new and different design for you, following the try more flowers idea I came up with these tropical ones. Since I love doing decals I figured I tried to get a bit artistic and add some accent to my flowers, I actually like how they turned out. The dark green base is Essence The Green and the Grunge stamped with MDU Spring Green and Color Club Kismet using the Cici&Sisi12 plate. The flowers are from the PUEEN72 plate and colored using OPI Live Love Carnaval and Wet and Wild Through the Grape Vine. And if you wanna see the flowers up close, here it is. Thanks for reading ☺
Hi guys, I recently did a twin manicure with a lovely instagram lady @clariouxsh and I liked this stamp so much that I have to try this design again with a different approach. This design is from Moyou London Sailor 07 plate, I used the decal technique. Base color is OPI You're So Vanilla, accent nail is Zoya Destiny. And here's a little close up of the design, I love the little starfish, don't you? Thanks for reading ♥ |
