Hi,
At the begining of the month I asked my good friend Nicole (@mynailsmypolish go follow her) if she wanted to do a holiday swap with me and she excitedly agreed, on Christmas Eve I got my package full of goodies and what has come to be one of my favorite polishes of all time. This is what I got in case you were curious: Now onto the polish that took my breath away, as soon as I saw it I knew it was something else but I didn't know how much till I put it on. This is Julie G Mermaids Tale simply the most beautiful nail polish I've seen in a while.
It's a jelly blue base with tiny duochrome shimmery flakes that go from gold to teal, it really does look like a mermaid. Take a look at this awesomeness in the bottle:
And now on my tips. In these photos I have 2 easy to apply coats and no top coat.
I added some fireworks stamps being new year's and all with my Shany SH13 plate and China Glaze Passion.
What are you wearing on your nails for New Year's? Let me know in the comments.
Thanks for reading and Happy New Year !!!

Hello!
This will be a quick post and a double feature, I'm still trying to catch up with the challenge but hopefully I won't get too far behind.
The first post will be Ornament nails. All I could think about was the glittery tree decorations and I had an idea in my head that I couldn't translate into my nails so I had to turn to my always helpful stamps.
The base color is Orly Au Champagne and the stamping is from the plate BM- 225.
Now for Starry Night I used Butter London The Black NIght as base color and the Konad M14 plate.
Hello!
I'm 2 days late on the challenge, life's been crazy lately, I've been getting off work at 7:00pm each day and I just eat dinner and go to bed with no time to paint my nails or take picture the way I would like to.
Luckily I am determined to keep up so I'm posting my white nails today.
For this mani I used 3 coats of Kleancolor Metallic White and a white stamp using my XL A plate.
Hello!
Today's challenge is blue nails. I'm not really fond of blue nails although I love the color on everything else and I even own several blue nail polishes. Weird right?
For this mani I decided to try the Saran Wrap manicure that I've been drooling over for months thanks to the always perfect nails of Marta from Chit Chat nails and I'm kind of please of how it turned out.
First I added a coat of Essence Date in the Moonlight, then a coat of OPI Ogre The Top Blue and did the saran wrap. The stamp is from the Cheeky plate CH6 with a non brand white polish.
And now a close up to the little snowman.
Hello!
Today's challenge is Silver Nails. I had no idea what to do today cause all of the nail art ideas I had apply for another day and I didn't want to used them up so while I was going through my entire nail polish collection looking for all my silver polishes I found this!
This polish is a Franken I made a couple of months ago with some holo glitter I ordered from ebay and a bunch of silvery/shimmery polishes that I don't remember exactly anymore.
It was so hard to photograph cause the lighting I'm using now to take pictures didn't allow the colors to show, so if you have any tips on how to resolve this issue they're more than welcome.
Of course I had to add a macro shot of the bottle for you to get a better idea of what the polish looks like.
Hello,
Another day another mani for the Advent Calendar Challenge, I am actually loving every second of it, who doesn't like to try out holiday manicures every day?
I must have pulled out every green polish I own in search for the perfect shade till I ran into China Glaze Glittering Garland, once I put it on I couldn't believe this beauty has been sitting on my nail polish rack since last year and I haven't even glanced at it.
Glittering Garland is a dark green almost black base with tons of green micro flakies that shine all over your nails like the lights on a Christmas tree.
Once I had it on I wanted to add and extra shine so I added a coat of a Flakie green Forever 21 nail polish, the label only says Lime. Don't you just hate that they make some really pretty polishes but the names are just lame?
Also I added a stamp on my ring finger using my Bundle Monster BM14 plate.
Hello,
It's the second day of the challenge and I feel like I'm already falling behind cause I'm posting everything so late in the day. I'll try to keep up tomorrow and have the manis ready in advance, I promise :)
For today we had to do gold, I initially did a completely different thing but it didn't came up as I pictured it in my head so I removed it and then remembered I had this lovely glitter polish and decided it to used it instead.
This is a polish I got last year at Old Navy (didn't even know they made polishes) and I love it. It's a mix if super small gold and cooper glitter in a clear base, the formula was great, I used 3 coats for full opacity and no top coat since it didn't dry gritty.
Being the stamping obsessed I am I couldn't just leave the glitter alone so I stamped some gold stripes using China Glaze Passion and my Shany SH23 plate.
I love how pretty it turned out.
Hello Ladies,
Can you believe it's December already? This whole year went by so fast and I'm really excited to finish it with a nail challenge. Recently I was given a Lovely Blog Award by the lovely lady behind the polish aholic blog and I found out they were doing the Advent Calendar Nail Challenge, I of course had to join in.
It's 24 days filled with awesome holiday nail art, I have a picture of the whole break down below:
Now on to the first day nails. For this mani I used 2 coats of A England Merlin, the most awesome silver glitter and Zoya Sookie with Bundle Monster's BM -205 plate. In my ring finger I have 2 coats of China Glaze Love Marilyn.
I really love how this turned out. Now go check out what the girls came up with.
What do you think of this mani? Are you rocking holiday nails yet?
Thanks for reading <3
Hello!
I have just a simple mani for today, a little red and silver to start getting in the holiday spirit and the Christmas manis :D
For this I used China Glaze The Ten Man as base and China Glaze in Winter Berry and Hey Sailor for the stamp using the Bundle Monster 215 plate.
Take a look:
I used two different tones of red for the stamp but you can barely tell, this second picture gives you the idea of it thanks to the bad lighting haha.
I like how it turned out I only wished the difference in the reds were more noticeable. What do you think?

Hello!
Today I have some nail art to show you, it's a pretty simple design but it looked pretty good and I love the colors cause it made my nails look so vibrant, this was actually inspired by a sweater I had on the other day that had like fuchsia and purple stripes but I decided to give it a twist and use waves instead of just plain straight stripes.
Check it out:
For this mani I used Orly Miss Conduct as base color, then I stamped the waves with Color Club Secret Agent and Bundle Monster's BM-210 plate. I wish the purple would've been a little but more intense but I still like the outcome.
And that's it! What's your favorite color combo? Let me know in the comments
