Hi guys, Sorry I've been MIA, life's been hectic and also I got a crappy cold and I haven't been feeling good or inspired to do my nails even though I got a lot of new plates and polishes to play with. To try and get me out of my funk I tried my new Cici&Sisi03 plate for this accent nail. Base color is China Glaze New Birth an awesome light blue, you can barely tell there's blue in it and that's why it's so cool. Design stamped with China Glaze For Audrey over CND Urban Oasis and colored with NOPI The Coral of the Story and Maybelline Citrus Collide. I hope you like this design. I'll try to work on better ideas over the weekend if I start feeling better.
Thanks for reading ♥ Hi guys, I have a late afternoon post today cause inspiration eludes me. I've had this design in my head for a few weeks now and after a few failed ideas I decided to finally give it a shot. I don't drink coffee, never have and probably never will cause it gives me a migraine but I loved the design on this Cici&Sisi10 plate so I just went for it. Base color is Color Club Cherubic, and stamp is Nothing but Truffle, on my ring finger I stamped the same coffee bean design using China Glaze Passion but it's really hard to tell. I'm sad you can't see the gorgeous holo in Color Club Cherubic but the sun was hiding and refused to come out no matter how much I begged. Better luck next time I guess.
Thanks for reading ♥ Hello guys, I have another nail art manicure today, I got overly creative with this one, it took me a few tries to get the butterfly to work but I wasn't gonna give up. There's a lot of work involved in this mani so I'm gonna try to describe what I did as good as possible. Base color is Essie Bikini So Teeny, stamped with a design from my Cici&Sisi 07 plate, I stamped that design twice, once with white and another one with a light blue polish I made. For the butterfly I used the same plate and some shimmer polishes to color the decal. The accent design for my other nails was stamped with black and my RA-119 plate. That was quite the long description and it took even longer to do the design ☺
I hope you guys like it as much as I enjoyed making it, getting out of your comfort zone is always a fun ride. Thanks for reading ♥ Hi guys, While we don't have 4 seasons in Costa Rica like the rest of the world I love to see the colors changing in fashion and being a sucker for themed manicures I'm excited to welcome fall with all it's oranges, golds, pumpkins and spider webs. To start moving away from neon and more into earthy colors I made up this manicure which makes the transition easier. The base color is OPI Don't Bossa Nova Me Around stamped with Essie Penny Talk & Nothing Else Metals using plate Cici&Sisi09. Red accent was stamped using Kleancolor Metallic Red. I was very proud of the color combo and it was a super cute manicure to wear without being too flashy. What's your favorite nail polish or nail art season?
Thanks for reading ♥ Happy Sunday guys! I hope you're all chillin' and having fun, I'm spending my Sunday de-cluttering my polish racks and dusting everything off, how fun... Today's mani is another design made with my Cici&Sisi12 plate, I'm trying to use all the designs on this plate before I move on to a different one. For the accent glitter I'm wearing Finger Paints Stardust Blush, the red polish is OPI Wocka Wocka! stamped with China Glaze Passion. I never wear reds at all even though I own a ton of reds and I love how they look on everyone else's nails, but maybe after this design I can start wearing them more cause I like how classic and timeless it looks. What do you think?
Thanks for reading ♥ Hi guys, Can't believe it's Friday already, this week went by so fast! Not that I'm complaining cause I really wanna sleep in and paint my nails of course. Today's design is a fun one, I haven't done glitter placement in forever so it felt good to break out of the usual "only stamp" designs. As base color I'm wearing China Glaze At Vase Value, the stamp was made using my Cici&Sisi12 plate and Kleancolor Metallic Blue, I also added some gold loose glitter that I bought on ebay. I love how this designed turned out and my boyfriend did too, he was all surprised on how patient I was to place all the glitter. Sometimes it's good to get out of your comfort zone and try something different for a change. What do you think?
Thanks for reading ♥ Hi guys! I'm excited to show you my new tutorial to make this pretty neon design. It was requested by Nailgal when I first did my flag mani so here it is, enjoy! These are some pics for you to get a better look at the end result. I hope you liked the video Let me know if you wanna see more tutorials like this.
Adri ♥ Hi guys, I wanted to show you the mani I wore for Costa Rica's Sunday soccer match, I figured since the colors are the same as the US flag you can use this design for the upcoming 4th of july as well, maybe add silver stamped stars to the blue part? Just an idea. For this mani I used all China Glaze polishes: Dandy Lyin' Around as the white base, Hey Sailor and First Mate for the stamp with my Cici&Sisi12 plate, I used Fairy Dust as top coat to add some extra sparkle. I got a lot of compliments when I wore this design and I think is easy enough for anyone to do it. If you need directions on how I used 2 colors on the same stamp let me know, I can make a short video.
As always, thanks for reading ♥ Hi guys, Sorry I've been MIA for the last 2 days, I was super busy at work and then I caught the flu, I'm still sick but at least I'm home so I can just rest and write this blog post ☺ I have a simple manicure today, and attempt to stamped french tips, the stamp I used it's not actually for french tips but my nails are small enough so it works. The base color is Icing Mint Choco Chip and my Cici&Sisi 12 plate with black Konad polish. I got to admit I might try french tips more often, they're easy and fun to pimp out a simple manicure. What do you think?
Thanks for reading ♥ Hi guys, Are you excited for another week of nail polish and nail art? I surely am. I've been trying to post something new everyday, either a swatch or a design and I think it's going good, I'm happy to be consistent with my blog. I have another double stamp design for you guys today. I started with Color Club Secret Rendezvous as base and I used China Glaze Below Deck and Konad black for the stamping with my Cisi & Sisi plates. I wish I had better pics of this design but it was late at night and I only had my desk lamp. I'm still working on taking decent pics with it so please be patient, if you have any tips I would be forever grateful.
