Hi ladies! It's been sunny and warm here in Costa Rica since the beginning of the year so I felt like wearing something according to the weather. In this case I chose Sally Hansen Sun Kissed. I don't usually wear orange polish but I thought it would go perfect with some glitter on top. First off the swatches without anything else. In these pics I have 2 coats and no top coat. Don't you just wanna squeeze my nails : ). As for the glitter part I chose Kleancolor Shooting Star which is a mix of teal, gold, red hexagonal glitter and some small hexagonal silver glitter on an orangy base. This is just one coat of the glitter. And of course the Macro Shot of this lovely glitter: Do you like this combo? I think it would be perfect for the summer months.
Thank you for reading <3 Hi ladies! A couple of weeks ago I received some gorgeous glitters in the mail and I've been dying to try them an today I finally have the first one to show you. This is a pink/ salmon jelly packed with iridicent glitter. I used 4 coats and you can still see my nail line so it might work better as a top coat, still the polish it's a beauty. Check it: And now a macro pic of the glitter in the bottle: Isn't it gorgeous? You can get this Limited Edition Glitter at Victorias Nails Supply for $3.50 or by clicking here.
Thanks you for reading <3 Hi guys! It's already day 9, one of my favorite of the whole challenge, Rainbow Nails. I spent the last few days trying different stuff to do for today and nothing seems to be good enough so I went back to basics and did a rainbow plain and simple. I used 7 different glitter polishes, some masking tape and a lot of patience and I fell in love with the results: Doesn't it remind you of Rainbow Brite's socks? That's all I think about when I look at my nails. Here's is the list of polishes I used in case you want to try this at home: Now my favorite part of the challenge, checking out my friends manicures for today.
Lindsay: Polish & Diamonds Tiffany: 2thelastdrop Holly: Nail Polish Rehab Nicole: My Nails. My Polish Hi guys, I've been a little lazy these days not posting regularly and I apologize. On the bright side I have been taking pics of everything I wore on my nails and I'm going to share it with you right here: Zoya Dawn Essie Splash of Grenadine And now the one's I'm more excited about: Lorelei's Tiara Marry a Millionaire
Hi ladies, It's been a busy couple of weeks and I haven't got the time to post anything. I went to Florida last week and got a bunch of new polish that I will be posting here. To start I have Zoya Marina: I always use three coats with my polishes but you can get away with two. Also I added two coats of NYC Starry Silver Glitter. What do you think? Would you wear this combo?
Hi guys! Finally I finished swatching all the awesome glitters for this collection. I hope you guys like them as much as I do. Beyond The Mistletoe This is a really cool hard to explain glitter mix of mostly green glitter with silver holo glitter. Holiday Splendor This is my favorite from the entire collection, it's a jelly based green with holographic glitter, perfect Christmas color. Gingerbread Gold and Holo glitter. Sugarplum Fairy Awesome lavender holo glitter. Candy Cane Pink glitter with some green and purple on it. And the final polish from this collection called Jingle Jangle can be found on a previous post which will be linked right here.
What do you think? Ready to glitter your nails this holiday season? Hi ladies! Today I have one of the polished from Color Club's New Holiday Collection called Beyond The Mistletoe which my boyfriend picked up for me a couple of weeks ago in Florida. :-) These polishes are amazing, 4 of them have holo glitter *drools* and the formula is pretty good. Here's a pic of the collection. And now the pics of this pretty glitter. I layered the polish in my ring finger with Color Club's Secret Rendezvous on the pic below. And a close up of the glitter which is always a must. What do you think? Do you have any of these polishes yet?
Hi all! Yesterday's was my boyfriend's 26 birthday and I was all dressed in black (we have to wear black for work on Sundays) so I, as usual, decided to match my nails to my outfit. I choose China Glaze In The City from their Metro Collection since it's sparkly and dark. Take a look: In the pic above the nail polish looks more purplish and shines like crazy. With less light it looks more black. Also, a close up to the crazy glitter on this polish that has some silver, black, purple and even some redish/copper square glitters in there.
