Hello everyone! For today's manicure I have a really funny design, it reminds me of the cartoons in the newspaper. I used China Glaze Pelican Gray as base color, Sally Hansen Black out for the stamping and Konad's M10 plate for the designs. If you want to get the cartoon look all you have to do is stamp the design, then with another color of nail polish paint on top of the design following the lines (like on a coloring book) and then stamp the design again on top of the first stamp you made; this way you have the original lines of the stamp on top of what you colored. Maybe I should make a tutorial about this because it's a little hard to explain, let me know what you think.A-
Hello! In today's nail of the day I have a simple yet fancy manicure. (If you want to call it that) The base color is China Glaze First Mate, and the stamping was made with Konad's M78. I used 2 colors for it, gold and silver, if you look closely you'll tell the difference. This post will be really short but there's more to come.
Hope you have a great week. A- Hello! I hope you are having a great weekend. Another fun manicure, it's a tutty fruity design made with Konads M55 plate and a whole bunch of colors. Basically you just choose a lighter shade of the stamping polish you are going to use and paint your nails with it for base color. You can use any shade of green, red, orange and purple you have and stamp the designs. I didn't really followed a pattern si have fun with it.
A- Hello! I've bought a lot of nail polishes in past weeks and I though I'll start a nail of the day post and force myself to try them all. For the first installment of the series I have a Konad manicure from a new plate I got at the mall. This is what I used: - Color Club Love'Em Leave 'Em (Base Color) - China Glaze First Mate (Stamp design) - Konad plate M63 PS: I added the Color Club Love 'Em Leave 'Em swatch to my Nail Polish Swatches section in case you want to check it out.
Have a good one! A- Finally Friday!! Hi everyone, I was trying water marbling for the second time ever and I failed, yet again. Still there were a couple of fingers I could save from the disaster and I included them in this manicure. The rest of my fingers have Color Club Who Are You Wearing and the lace design on Konad's m57 plate stamped with Sally Hansen Black Out. This picture is from my left hand. And this is the picture from my right hand. I included both hands in the blog because my ring fingers have water marbling on them and they look totally different. I'll keep trying until I master this, even if it's the last thing I do. Ps: Sorry for the bad lighting. Enjoy your weekend! *Adri* Hello! Funny fact about me: I've been totally obsessed with the Wizard of Oz ever since I can remember, I got the blu-ray special edition movie, t-shirts, watch, you name it. Now that I got the collection from China Glaze I just want to wear these polishes. So, today I bring you: Dorothy Who? which is a really sparkly cerulean blue and I added a couple of white daisies to each nail with my Konad plate M60 and using the dotting technique I did the yellow centers. Let me know what you think and please subscribe. *Adri* Hi! I really wanted to paint my nails with a dark color and I've been wanting to try C-C- Courage from China Glaze which I bought recently. I love the deep sparkly purple from this nail polish. I added the mesh design from my Konad plate and though about adding something else but the design was already pretty enough. I'm gonna be wearing it for a few days. Hey everyone! I was playing with my new nail polishes and since I now have more pink shades I thought I'll layer them in a design. I think It looks pretty cute, how about you? What I used: - Color Club: Who are you Wearing as base color. - China Glaze: Don't Touch my Tiara for the full nail flower stamps. - Forever 21 Rose color for the accent flowers. - Konad nail plate M57 I got home really late yesterday after running tons of errands and I was really tired so I decided to do a simple design on my nails. I have this polish, Flying Dragon from China Glaze that I've never used cause it has a matte finished and I don't really like matte but I thought that maybe with a silver design and a top coat it would look pretty. Now I love it, it looks classy with the silver and you can wear it day or night. Hope you like it! So, I was looking at my nail art pictures and realized that I don't have a decent argyle manicure picture. I started trying different color combos on my notepad (I find is easier to try a design on a white notepad and then put it on your nails if you like it) and ended up doing this. I used L.A Colors Color Craze in Current (414) as base color and China Glaze Rodeo Fanatic for the stamping. The argyle design is from Konad's M60 plate. Hope you like it!
