Hello guys, I have another nail art manicure today, I got overly creative with this one, it took me a few tries to get the butterfly to work but I wasn't gonna give up. There's a lot of work involved in this mani so I'm gonna try to describe what I did as good as possible. Base color is Essie Bikini So Teeny, stamped with a design from my Cici&Sisi 07 plate, I stamped that design twice, once with white and another one with a light blue polish I made. For the butterfly I used the same plate and some shimmer polishes to color the decal. The accent design for my other nails was stamped with black and my RA-119 plate. That was quite the long description and it took even longer to do the design ☺
I hope you guys like it as much as I enjoyed making it, getting out of your comfort zone is always a fun ride. Thanks for reading ♥ Happy Saturday! I'm excited the weekend is finally here, mostly cause it's a long weekend for my since Monday we celebrate Independence Day here in Costa Rica, Yay! As you might have guessed I have another decal mani to show you today. This is my attempt at fall mani even though my boyfriend told me it looked like Christmas but what does he know, right? The green base color is Essie Absolutely Shore, leaves were stamped with Color Club Nothing but Truffle and painted with Zoya Apple, Tanzy and Kimmy. Red Accent nails is also Zoya Kimmy. Plates used BM H11, BM201. I wore this manicure for the last couple of days and my friends loved it, honestly so do I. What do you think?
Thanks for reading ♥ Hi guys, I've been practicing with stamped decals a lot and I just love it, the whole process is like therapy to me, from choosing the design and colors to actually painting the stamp and waiting for it to dry and then the discovery of how everything turned out, let me tell you I'm hooked. You will be seeing a lot of decals in the future. For today's mani I used Essie I'm Addicted as base color and Zoya Sunshine as accent/textured nail, the stamp was done using Pueen13 plate and Kleancolor Metallic Blue plus a bunch blue polishes for the other colors. I love love love this mani and the fact that it turned out just how I planned it. Isn't that the best feeling?
Thanks for reading ♥ Happy Sunday!! I don't have big plans for today, just read a good book on the couch cause I'm a bit tired. Do you have big plans for today? I joined a Stamping group on Facebook and every Sunday there's a different challenge, which I'm gonna start posting here as well. Today's challenge is Geometric nails, at first I wanted to do squares but then I saw this stamp and I liked it even better. This stamp is from PUEEN15 plate using Essie Bobbing for Baubles. I used the decal technique to paint the yellow and pink. The pink is Maybelline Pink Punch and the yellow is Citrus Collide. I showed this mani to my boyfriend and he was really pleased with it which is a success since he's a really though critic and doesn't spare feelings. Can't wait for next week's challenge.
Thanks for reading ♥ Hi guys, While we don't have 4 seasons in Costa Rica like the rest of the world I love to see the colors changing in fashion and being a sucker for themed manicures I'm excited to welcome fall with all it's oranges, golds, pumpkins and spider webs. To start moving away from neon and more into earthy colors I made up this manicure which makes the transition easier. The base color is OPI Don't Bossa Nova Me Around stamped with Essie Penny Talk & Nothing Else Metals using plate Cici&Sisi09. Red accent was stamped using Kleancolor Metallic Red. I was very proud of the color combo and it was a super cute manicure to wear without being too flashy. What's your favorite nail polish or nail art season?
Thanks for reading ♥ Happy Saturday!
I woke up with this drive to swatch all my untrieds, I just hope the day is long enough and I can get sunshine for a few hours. In the meantime I have a bright manicure to share with you, I did this one a few days ago, it's simple but elegant and I was very pleased with the color combination and how it all looked together. The base color is China Glaze All wrapped Up and I stamped the design using Essie Penny Talk and MoYou Princess 13 plate. Hi guys, I have the first polish from the Essie Neon Collection for this year. I loved all the colors when I first saw swatches, and let me tell you I usually don't go for Essie polishes cause the colors are not that impressive. Vices Versa is a Neon Crelly lime green, it's a bit sheer so you need either a white base or thick coats for full coverage. I had to use 4 coats in these swatches cause I started with thin coats. It dries a bit matte so a top coat was needed. I was impressed by this polish, I though I was definitely gonna need a white base but it build up nicely and the color didn't seem affected by my stained nails.
If you like neon and green go get this one. Thanks for reading ♥ Happy Friday!! I'm so excited that it's finally Friday, I seriously need a good night's sleep to charge batteries for tomorrow's soccer match, Costa Rica VS Uruguay. Go Ticos!! Since it's such a dark and cloudy day outside (here where I live) I decided to brighten it up by wearing this gorgeous Essie polish called Cute as a Button. This one was also on my untrieds bin for a really long time which is a shame cause it's beautiful. Cute as a Button is a pink, creme with coral undertones, it's not pink but it's not coral, something in between. Application was great, only 2 coats and top coat. I have to say, I really love this pink and the more polishes I try from Essie the more I'm convinced they are my favorite cremes. What is your favorite brand for creme polishes?
Thanks for reading ♥ P.s: Don't forget to check out my nail polish store: http://fgtpolish.storenvy.com Happy Monday! I'm super excited to show you this manicure, I've been wearing it for the past few days and I don't wanna take it off cause I like it so much. I think my new addiction will be double stamping like this. As a base color I used Essie Bikini So Teeny, I stamped it with Bundle Monster BM201 and Wet n Wild White polish. For the blue letters I used Essie Bobbing for Baubles and Cici & Sisi plate 10. I'm seriously proud of this mani (in case you haven't noticed yet) I'm gonna go try another design like this.
Thanks for reading ♥ Hi guys, I'm back with another manicure. I figured you were sick of seeing swatches so I've been trying to make more designs instead, I still have more swatches but I'm holding back. This mani was inspired by my sweater (pictured below). I created it using plate BM-221 for the stamp and China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy, the base color is Who Are You Wearing by Color Club and the glitter accent is Essie but I can't recall the name cause the sticker fell off. I was in love with this mani and I wanted to wear the same sweater all week just so it would match my nails. Have you ever been inspired to do your nails to match a specific piece of clothing?
