Hi guys,
The next polish on this OPI fall collection is called This isn't Greenland and it's the only green shade in the bunch, I like how it changes the tone from all the dark purples, blues and browns to give something a bit more refreshing. Due to it's yellow undertones it might not be compatible with all skin tones and I think that's why my skin looks so weird in these pictures. I added a double leafy stamp with different shades of green for the accent nail art. Happy Friday!
Today I'm wearing the 5th polish from OPI's Iceland Collection, this is another one of those shades I wouldn't have thought about buying, but now that I'm wearing I can appreciate the color, I thought it was gonna look worse on me, like dead hands but it's kinda flattering. I added a couple of owl pattern stamps with the Moyou London Animal 07 plate and Himalayan Salt and Teddy Bear polishes. Hi guys,
I have the third nail polish from OPI's Iceland collection called Less is Norse. This is a dark blurple color, it looks more purple on my pics but in real life it's more bluish. Application was a breeze, only 2 coats to even things out. For the stamp I used the Moyou London Scandi 05 plate (same as yesterday) and the Pumpkin and Teddy Bear stamping polishes. I really liked the color combo for this mani, it screams fall for me. Hi guys,
I have the second polish from OPI's Iceland collection to show you. This is the one I was most excited about cause it's just the perfect blurple with multi-chrome shimmer that you need on your nails. Since the name references northern lights I thought I give it a try at some nail art inspired in that and this is what I came up with, it looked a bit different in my head but I still like it. For the stamps I used the Moyou London Scandi 05, the mountain color is OPI Check Out the Old Geysers. Hi guys,
I received the OPI fall collection called Iceland last week and I couldn't be more excited. There was one color I was dying to try but I'm also enjoying playing around with colors that are out of my comfort zone, specially browns that you'll see on my next posts. The first one I tried is Check Out the Old Geysers, it's a dusty light blue with some cerulean shimmer that's barely visible but still there. I added some plaid stamping with the Moyou London Hipster 06 plate and the Pumpkin and Gold Espresso stamping polishes. It reminds me of a cozy scarf or fall coat. What do you think? Hi all,
I have a quick post today just to assure you that I'm alive and still painting my nails. Life has been hectic and I'm to tired when I get home to edit pics in the computer so I've been slacking. For today I have a simple but fun double stamped squared mani. The base color is Nubar Purple Aster and the stamp is from the Moyou London Princess 13 plate and their Pink! and Beach House stamping polishes. Hi guys,
With the summer getting closer by the day I'm starting to dust off my bright polishes for the season and I found this little gem in my stash. Butter London Sunnies has the perfect name, is a super bright sunflower yellow cream. Application was super easy, only 3 coats for coverage. For the double stamped leaves I used Moyou London's Tropical 14 and the Winter Green and Ever Green stamping polishes. Hi all,
I finally was able to blog again after a short vacay and a few long work days last week. So to start the week in a positive note I have a super sparkly and fun mani to share with you. This one took me a few more steps than usual but I was really please with how it turned out, I've seen a few bloggers do the double stamping, holo on top of black and I love the dimension that it gives to the nails and how perfectly imperfect it looks. For this I used Butter London Look In as a base, it's a dark indigo creme, then I added some Chameleon Mirror Nail Glitter Powder from Born Pretty Store, I think it's the 684 shade, since I didn't use gel polish it doesn't look like a mirror but you still get the chrome like effect. As for the stamp it was made with Moyou London's Illusion 08 plate, Bundle Monster Black and Color Club Harp on it. Hi guys,
I know I've been posting a lot of Essie shades lately but it's only because they're untrieds and colors that really caught my attention in the last couple of months. For today's post I have Essie Chillato which is a pastel yellow creme with a hint of green, it's something in between because next to yellow it looks more green and vice versa. I added blue feather stamps using the Moyou London Tropical 20 plate and their Blue Velvet and Ever Green polishes. My pointer and pinky fingers also have an extra sparkle that I did using the CBL Blue Skies stamping polish. Hi guys,
Today I have a lovely polish and design perfect for the summer time (I meant for that to rhyme). Nothing's better about the summer than being by the water and this polish reminds me exactly of that with the sparkly aqua shade. I added a pineapple accent nail using the Moyou London Tropical 09 plate, and a few different stamping polishes for the decal and accent leaves. I really like how it turned out, I just wish the green was more intense so it's not as similar as the yellow waves. What do you think? |
