Hi Guys, I have an inspired manicure for you today, you know those moments when you finally feel artsy and you get this idea of a manicure by looking at a plate design? Well it happened to me this week and I couldn't be happier with the results, I pulled out my nail art brush and painted away. The base color for this design is OPI Sorry I'm Fizzy Today, I used 3 coats cause I only have the mini version and it look a bit streaky, I'm pretty sure with a bigger brush you can do it in 2. The stamp is from Cici&Sisi04 with Kleancolor Metallic Red. The rest is a steady hand, a bunch of other polishes and my Mash nail art brush. I always show my manicures to my boyfriend and he's starting to get that unimpressed, yet another stamp look but he was quite eloquent when he saw this one so that made me happy. What do you think? Thanks for reading ♥Hi Guys, I have a lovely pink shade for you today and since we're a month away from Valentine's I'm taking out all my plates with everything holiday related to get ahead on the holiday season. For this manicure I used 3 coats of OPI I Love Applause as base and then double stamped the hearts using PUEEN41 plate and OPI Coca Cola Red with China Glaze Admire. And as the new tradition dictates, here's a swatch of the polish by itself. Isn't it just gorgeous? Thanks for reading ♥Hi guys, I have my second Halloween manicure today. I came up with this design randomly, I just started adding stuff to it till I got here. As base color I'm wearing FGT Polish Olaf which you can get here. I first stamped vertical white lines using OPI Alpine Snow and CH10, then I stamped some plaid design with China Glaze Joy and Konad M60. For the rest of the design I used an unbranded black and BM-H12 & BM-H08. At first I didn't think this was going to work but I ended up liking it a lot, it's just so different and has a lot of colors going on. What do you think?
Thanks for reading ♥ Hi guys, Since it's October and Wednesday I decided to wear a pink mani for breast cancer awareness. My aunt was diagnosed a couple of years back and it really is hard to see someone you love going through such an awful thing, she's the bravest woman I know, even with her illness she was her cheerful self and now she's cancer free ♥ For this manicure I used all OPI polishes. Base color is Pedal Faster Suzi, stamp is Kiss me on my Tulips colored with Pink-ing of You. I really like how this turned out, it ads a little of pop and cheerfulness to a touchy subject. What do you think? Are you wearing pink today?
Thanks for reading ♥ Hi guys, I have an easy stamped design today. I've always loved how bright blue and yellow look together and I've been wanting to try it on my nails for a really long time so here it is. As base color I used NOPI Hit the Lights, for the white accent and white stamped I used OPI Alpine Snow and plate BM206. Blue stamp was made using Kleancolor Metallic Blue and Plate PUEEN24. I wish the pics would've been better but you still get the idea of how fun this manicure is. I'll probably do more blue+yellow color combos in the future.
Thanks for reading ♥ Hi guys, While we don't have 4 seasons in Costa Rica like the rest of the world I love to see the colors changing in fashion and being a sucker for themed manicures I'm excited to welcome fall with all it's oranges, golds, pumpkins and spider webs. To start moving away from neon and more into earthy colors I made up this manicure which makes the transition easier. The base color is OPI Don't Bossa Nova Me Around stamped with Essie Penny Talk & Nothing Else Metals using plate Cici&Sisi09. Red accent was stamped using Kleancolor Metallic Red. I was very proud of the color combo and it was a super cute manicure to wear without being too flashy. What's your favorite nail polish or nail art season?
Thanks for reading ♥ Hi Guys, I had some new pictures of manicures to share with you but I didn't like any of them. For today I'm pulling out a back up I had from a few weeks back. This is OPI Live, Love, Carnaval from their Brazil collection, it's a super creamy pinkish coral polish, super pigmented, only 2 coats needed to even everything out. I promise I'll take better pics next time so I have something more exciting to share with you. I'll go back to my work now.
Thanks for reading ♥ Happy Sunday guys! I hope you're all chillin' and having fun, I'm spending my Sunday de-cluttering my polish racks and dusting everything off, how fun... Today's mani is another design made with my Cici&Sisi12 plate, I'm trying to use all the designs on this plate before I move on to a different one. For the accent glitter I'm wearing Finger Paints Stardust Blush, the red polish is OPI Wocka Wocka! stamped with China Glaze Passion. I never wear reds at all even though I own a ton of reds and I love how they look on everyone else's nails, but maybe after this design I can start wearing them more cause I like how classic and timeless it looks. What do you think?
Thanks for reading ♥ Happy Monday! I don't usually wear texture polishes but when I do they sparkle! That's why today I have this textured polish from OPI. Get your Number is a blue glitter textured filled with holographic glitter that just gives it an extra wow factor to an already gorgeous blue. Application was easy, I used 3 coats for the pics below but you can still see a bit of nail line, I guess since the base is jelly like you need a bit more coats for perfect coverage. Get your number might be one of my favorite textured polishes so far, having holographic glitter really makes it unique.
I got my bottle at TJ Maxx on a 2 polish bundle for $6.99 but I guess you can still find it at the usual stores like Ulta. Thanks for reading ♥ Hi guys, Another day, another untried. This might be my oldest untried and I've thought about giving it away but it goes together with Lincoln Park After Dark. Lincoln Park at Midnight is a super dark purple shimmer polish, formula was good, only 2 coats needed. I really like this polish, I should start wearing dark colors more often.
