Hi all, Last week I received the Essie Spring 2017 collection courtesy of Preen Me and I was super excited, the colors are beautiful, way bolder than what I expect for spring which is usually pastel shades. There's a little bit for everyone from grass green to several shades of pink to cover all the bases. B'aha Moment The description on the Essie website for this color is "enlightening pink pomegranate", and I have to agree is a really bright fuschia. Formula was good, a little on the thick side but I only needed 2 coats for full coverage. I added a palm tree and arrow stamp using Bundle Monster's BM-S308 plate and their stamping polish in Rave Babe. The white arrows were stamped with Moyou London's white. Designated DJ "plum sangria crème" I love this color and it's not something you would expect on a Spring Collection, it's perfect for a Spring night out and even for fall. Formula was great, almost a one coater but I used 2 coat to even things out. For this stamp I used Moyou London's Africa 10 plate and their Pink! and Sweet Custard stamping polishes. Backseat Besties "delicate pink plumeria" This to me is a Barbie pink with a blue undertone that screams spring. I needed 3 coats for this one just because it's a lighter shade. I made the stamp and accent nail with Essie No Place Like Chrome and Moyou London Sailor 07 Plate. I think this is one of the longest posts I've had on the blog, stay tuned for part 2 of this great collection tomorrow.
