Hi ladies! Another pink many for Wednesday and since it is February is valentine's inspired. As a base color I used My new A-England Morgan Le Fay and for the stamp I used China Glaze Velvet Bow, Winter Berry and Poinsettia With plate Ra-114. Now a couple of swatches of Morgan Le Fay by itself. I used a white base coat since the polish is really sheer. Once applied it looked a lot like Orly Au Champagne, it has the same pink/light blue micro shimmer in it. I really like this manicure, I don't wanna take it off until Valentine's day :)
Thank you for reading <3 Hi ladies! So excited to be back posting some stuff I have been wanting to do for a couple of weeks now. The first one is really appropriate for the season pink nails for Wednesday and also my first Valentine's mani. I can't really take credit for this design I saw a picture of it somewhere (wish I remembered to give the proper reference) and I wanted to try. For base color I used OPI Bubble Bath and for the stamping I used China Glaze Sugar High, Make Some Noise and Red Angel Plate RA-113 To achieve this look all you have to do is use 2 different tone polishes and the same stamp in different directions to make sure the spots do not overlap each other.
What do you think? Do you like camo nails? Hello ladies! I know I know, I'm skipping some days but I'll make up for them, I pinky promise. I just wanted to at least post the last 2 days of the challenge on time with my fellow bloggers. I chose to make Splatter nails for today since I have actually never tried them before. I watched like 30 seconds of a tutorial this morning and then grabbed my straws and did this in the other 20 min to spare I had before coming to work. For the Splatter I used all China Glaze mostly from their Electropop collection: Make Some Noise, Gaga for Green, Kinetic Candy and Happy Go Lucky.
What do you think? Have you ever tried a splatter mani? If you have post a link to your blog on the comments cause I wanna see :) Now go check out the blogs for the other girls doing this challenge and see what they came up with: Lindsay: Polish & Diamonds Tawny: Nail Art By Tawny Tiffany: 2thelastdrop Holly: Nail Polish Rehab Nicole: My Nails. My Polish Hi guys! Today's post is inspired by a pattern, I found this picture online and I found it so hypnotizing that I had to use it, luckily I had a stamp on my new XL stamping plate that is just like it. For the base color I used China Glaze Gaga For Green from the New Electropop Collection and Color Club Masquerading for the stamp with my XL plate A. Thank you for reading. Now check out what my besties did for their challenge:
Lindsay: Polish & Diamonds Tiffany: 2thelastdrop Holly: Nail Polish Rehab Nicole: My Nails. My Polish Tawny: Nail Art By Tawny Hi ladies! This post is coming a little late today, I promise I'm trying to keep up. For today just like my fellow bloggers on this challenge I had no idea what to do so I just googled fashion and came across this pic from a New Zealand fashion show and I really liked it so I decided to use it as my inspiration for the day. For the design I used China Glaze Lemon Fizz as a base and for the stamp I used Color Club Revvvolution and my Red Angel plate RA-121. I'm really liking this design, what do you guys think?
Now check out my ladies blogs, they are way ahead of me on the challenge: Lindsay: Polish & Diamonds Tiffany: 2thelastdrop Holly: Nail Polish Rehab Nicole: My Nails. My Polish Tawny: Nail Art By Tawny Hi ladies! I hope everyone is having a great weekend, mine has been a busy one and today I'm back to work but I'm really pumped by today's post because who doesn't love a good song? You know, the type that just sticks in your head and you can't stop singing? For me it was Pink by Aerosmith right after I read about this challenge, love the band, love the song and it was perfect. This is the song translated to my nails, I used so many polishes and stamps that it would've been a long list so if you wanna know about a specific one let me know in the comments. What do you think? Do you listen to Aerosmith.
If you're a fan of music, check out my friend's song choice for today. Lindsay: Polish & Diamonds Tiffany: 2thelastdrop Holly: Nail Polish Rehab Nicole: My Nails. My Polish Tawny: Nail Art By Tawny Hello! I had a hard time doing today's design since I lost my masking tape and I tried to use whole bunch of other things like post-its that didn't work. Finally I ended up using the round edges of a band aid to make my half moon and they turned out pretty decent. Just ignore the not so perfect edges :D For this I used 2 coats of OPI Bubble Bath, a coat of China Glaze Fairy Dust and then two more coats of OPI Lincoln Park After Dark for the half moon. What do you think?
Don't forget to check out my ladies blogs today: Lindsay: Polish & Diamonds Tiffany: 2thelastdrop Holly: Nail Polish Rehab Nicole: My Nails. My Polish Tawny: Nail Art By Tawny Hello ladies! today post is glitter, you might think this was an easy choice but it wasn't, not when you are addicted to glitter polishes and it's so hard to choose one. I decided to go with one of my first and favorite glitter polishes, China Glaze's Dorothy Who? (I love the Wizard of Oz <3), but the polish wasn't glittery enough so I added a couple of layers of OPI Gone Gonzo and one coat of Fairy Dust. Take a look: Isn't it pretty? I also took a pic on the shade so you can see the kind of glitter madness that is going on in my nails. Thank you so much for reading this and leaving your comments, it means a lot.
Don't forget to visit my friends blog's and leave her some comments too ;) Lindsay: Polish & Diamonds Tiffany: 2thelastdrop Holly: Nail Polish Rehab Nicole: My Nails. My Polish Tawny: Nail Art By Tawny Hi girls! I'm so mad I had two miss a few days from the challenge because my stupid internet service was down. I feel like I fail my new year's resolution of posting everyday :( I did do my nails and took pics thou so I'm posting my last two designs late. The first one was flowers, I did something simple. I used Orly Rock-it as base color and I stamped it with China Glaze Passion and Konad plate M73 Now, for the delicate print I used a random purple from a brand called Lola, it does not have a name just a number and Color Club Worth the Risque and the Shany stamping plate SH20 And that is it. Hopefully I'll be able to post my tribal nails later on today. In the meantime check my ladies nails for today:
Lindsay: Polish & Diamonds Tiffany: 2thelastdrop Holly: Nail Polish Rehab Nicole: My Nails. My Polish Tawny: Nail Art By Tawny Hi ladies! Yesterday was a hectic day, I had a lot of manis to do and with me and my big ideas I decided to make my own Franken which I'll show you after the challenge is over. Once again I couldn't decide on a Polka Dot design so I made like 2 other before deciding for this one. For base Color I used China Glaze Pelican Gray and for the dots I used Color Club Backstage Pass. It was definitely time consuming since I had to pick the glitter from the polish with a toothpick and place it one by one on my nails but totally worth it. What do you guys think about using glitter for the polka dots?
