Hi guys, I'm really excited about today's post cause I finally filmed another short tutorial and cause I really love how this mani turned out. It's inspired by Taylor Swift's outfit for this years VMAS (yes, I'm a swiftie). I gotta admit I didn't think I would do a houndstooth design in a long time cause I've used it several times before but when I saw her in the red carpet I knew I could use that for my nails, cause the pattern looked so festive and fun, also color appropriate for fall or a night out. What do you think of her outfit? I did a quick video tutorial for this mani that you can watch right here. I love how it sparkles and to be honest I never thought about a bronze to silver gradient before and I'm loving it, I'm pretty sure I can mix it up a bit for a halloween desing maybe... We'll see. Hope you enjoyed the video and the design. Let me know if you've ever been immediately inspired by someone's outfit like I was for this mani.
Thanks for reading ♥ Hi guys, I have my second Halloween manicure today. I came up with this design randomly, I just started adding stuff to it till I got here. As base color I'm wearing FGT Polish Olaf which you can get here. I first stamped vertical white lines using OPI Alpine Snow and CH10, then I stamped some plaid design with China Glaze Joy and Konad M60. For the rest of the design I used an unbranded black and BM-H12 & BM-H08. At first I didn't think this was going to work but I ended up liking it a lot, it's just so different and has a lot of colors going on. What do you think?
Thanks for reading ♥ Hi guys, Sorry I've been MIA for the last 2 days, I was super busy at work and then I caught the flu, I'm still sick but at least I'm home so I can just rest and write this blog post ☺ I have a simple manicure today, and attempt to stamped french tips, the stamp I used it's not actually for french tips but my nails are small enough so it works. The base color is Icing Mint Choco Chip and my Cici&Sisi 12 plate with black Konad polish. I got to admit I might try french tips more often, they're easy and fun to pimp out a simple manicure. What do you think?
Thanks for reading ♥ Hi guys, Are you excited for another week of nail polish and nail art? I surely am. I've been trying to post something new everyday, either a swatch or a design and I think it's going good, I'm happy to be consistent with my blog. I have another double stamp design for you guys today. I started with Color Club Secret Rendezvous as base and I used China Glaze Below Deck and Konad black for the stamping with my Cisi & Sisi plates. I wish I had better pics of this design but it was late at night and I only had my desk lamp. I'm still working on taking decent pics with it so please be patient, if you have any tips I would be forever grateful.
Thanks for reading ♥ Hi ladies, After a few days filled with purple nails I decided to switch it up a bit. I was going through my stash and remember I haven't used this polish since I first got it, and it's actually a great color. 108 Degrees is a hot pink jelly shimmer that wants to show a little bit of gold duo chrome in the bottle but sadly it doesn't translate to the nail, still is one gorgeous shade. For this design I used one coat of Zoya Dawn as base and then 2 coats of China Glaze 108 Degrees. I stamp the design using Sinful Colors Easy Going and the Konad m64 plate. I love how this looks, I have a thing for deep colors as base a lighter shades to stamp lately. (Like you can't tell)
Thanks for reading <3 Hello, I started this year wearing purple nails which is my favorite color of polish, although it was merely a coincidence since I was only trying to match my outfit. Anyways the purple I choose has to be one of my favorites from all time. Color Club Alias is a shimmery slightly duo chrome deep purple that tends to show some gold depending on the lighting. Take a look at the pretty bottle. I am kind of obsessed with adding more shimmer to an already super shimmery polish and this is just exactly what I did. I used 2 coats of Alias and a coat of a Forever 21 purple shimmer called Purple. (I hate those "names") Since my manicure was already reaching its end date (tip wear much?) I decided to ad a little stamp to it using an unbranded purple I got a couple of years ago and my Konad M64 plate. And that's it! BWT the polish I am holding in the last couple of pics is the Forever21 polish I was talking about.
Thanks for reading <3 Hello! This will be a quick post and a double feature, I'm still trying to catch up with the challenge but hopefully I won't get too far behind. The first post will be Ornament nails. All I could think about was the glittery tree decorations and I had an idea in my head that I couldn't translate into my nails so I had to turn to my always helpful stamps. The base color is Orly Au Champagne and the stamping is from the plate BM- 225. Now for Starry Night I used Butter London The Black NIght as base color and the Konad M14 plate. I'll try to keep up with the rest of the posts today. Thanks for reading <3

I haven't been posting as much as I would like but it's been a though week and I've been feeling pretty down. It's hard to find inspiration for nail art on times like this. Today I painted my nails pink since it is Wednesday and I used a light pink with a hint of lavender from a Brazilian nail polish brand called Colorama, the name of the polish is Amanhecer. It is a really common brand where I live, you can find it in all supermarkets and it costs around $2. The application was really smooth and no streaky at all, I used 3 coats because my nails are really stained. I added two snow flake stamps, one blue with China Glaze First Mate and a darker pink one with Color Club Gimme a Grape Big Kiss and konad's M 59 plate. Also, in the middle there's a white decoration that I stamped with the BM02 plate. I have a few swatches to post also, but I'm going to include them in a different post.
Hope you enjoy the rest of your week. A- Hi guys! It's finally Saturday, yey!! I've been wanting to pain my nails in a darker color for a while but I always used pastel or lighter color because they are stained enough as it is, why make it worse? I couldn't help it and took out my OPI Lincoln Park After Dark and painted my nails. I added a coat of OPI DS Signature to my ring finger cause I wanted some holo (who can resist) I ended up taking out my Konad M57 plate and doing the fishnet pattern using the Holo nail polish. Enjoy! A- Hello! I've been trying to give my nails a break from dark colors because they're just so stained that I decided to just do a french manicure. The base color is: Color Club Get a clue, I added a coat of China Glaze Fairy Dust (glitter!!) and a butterfly stamp with OPI Funky Dunkey and Konad's M78 plate. I actually did a video tutorial of this design (my first ever!). English is my second language and I'm really shy so forgive me if it's not the best. |
