I was looking for some picture of the silver crackle polish by OPI online and I found these beauties.
They are called Smash Up Crackles by Models Own an English brand and they come in 9 exciting new colors. (Whoohoo! more crackle fun)
I searched on their web page and the crackle polish is not out yet but according to their facebook page they will be available online on April. You can get them here.
I think it's great that they have more colors than any other brand (that I know of), cause it's going to force the rest to keep up.
I love the orange, purple and blue ones. How about you?
Today's nail of the day is China Glaze Crushed Candy over China Glaze High Maintenance.
I've always like the red and light blue/light teal combination and I wasn't disappointed by this one.
I painted the crackle polish diagonally cause people keep saying how different the effect looks on your nails if you apply it in other directions and I liked the idea. It was kinda hard to apply cause I didn't wanna make a huge mess on my nails but I used masking tape to cover the edges (problem solved!)
Have you tried the crackle polish in fun ways like this?
I bought the entire Crackle collection from China Glaze but I didn't have to try them out until now. I found the application of the polish to be really simple although, I agree with the people that say it would be easier with a bigger brush.
I started playing with the black polish called Black Mesh and I used the new Color Club Starry Temptress nail polishes as base colors.
Let me know what you think.
