Today is another pink Wednesday and I wanted to put something simple yet sparkly on my nails. After my trip to the volcano on Sunday I got sick again and all I want to do is sleep all day (which I can't) and it was a perfect occasion for a "pick me up" color. I put on China Glaze Pom Pom which is a jelly with small sized and medium hexagon silver glitter and after I painted my nails I realized it is more of a magenta but I'll let it pass this time. Shh!! I also took a close up picture of the bottle so you can see the amazing glitter this polish packs. Sadly the sun was already gone otherwise I would have taken the pic outside. Today I was working on something really fun all afternoon and hopefully I'll be able to post it tomorrow. ( If you follow me on twitter you might know what it is)
Later! A- Hey guys!! I'm back at posting, hopefully everyday as before. I have this dotted design today made with 2 different sized dotting tools. I bought a bundle of two sided dotting tools at Transdesign.com for $6.5 and it's really useful if you're looking for one. I used Sea Spray as base coat and then added big white dots; on top of the white dots add smaller colored dots, use any color you want and that's it! It's a really cool design for Spring, hope you like it!
A- Hi guys! New month, completely new design. I've always been a fan of the Britto designs, if they weren't so expensive I would have bought my carry on luggage with their designs. How I did it? It's kinda complicated to explain so basically I just applied two coats of my OPI Natural Base Polish and grabbed a black Sharpie and started drawing. After that I just started painting the drawing with my dotting tool, just like you would with a coloring book. Here are some other close up pics from today's design. I'm totally obsessed with my nails today, they look like a have a sticker on, maybe like one of those Sally Hansen Salon Finish designs.
Anyways. hope you enjoy this design as much as I do. A- Hi guys! I'm pretty pissed off cause I had already done today's post and I published it and everything, somehow it got lost in cyberspace and now I have to do it all over again. Anyways, I have today on my nails China Glaze The Ten Man topped with Broken Hearted which was really easy to apply. For my ring finger I used China Glaze Ahoy!; I made a heart stencil with masking tape, put it on my nail and painted the heart with Lighting Bolt. Here's a close up picture of my finger. I did the same process with my thumb only this time the hearts were pink. And that's it! It is easier than it might sound, but if you have questions let me know.
A- Hello everyone! Following what I wrote on yesterday's post I'm using all my crackle polishes this week. For today I used Crushed Candy and Fault line together. On my left hand the mail color was Coconut Kiss topped with Crushed Candy, my ring finger has the opposite color combination which would be For Audrey topped with Fault Line I did both my hands opposite like in the picture below. This is what my right hand looks like. (I wore my nails like this to work today in case you were wondering)
Hello!! I bought this Broadway Nail Dress stickers at Walgreens last month for $2-$3 and I finally sat down and tried them out. To tell you the truth they're not so good, they're just a sticker not like the Sally Hansen ones that actually have nail polish on them and the application wasn't that smooth. Anyways, the design is really pretty and they can be removed from your nails like a regular sticker, no need for nail polish remover. I did a top coat on cause in the box said it will make the design last longer. Let me know what you think or if you have tried these stickers.
A- Hello everyone! I've been into layering different tones of the same color lately and that's why I did this manicure. For base color I used Color Club's Sheer Disguise which is a lot like Sea Spray by China Glaze, you can find my comparison here. Then for the first stamp, the flowery design I used OPI Ogre the top Blue and Konad's M73 and for the big blue rose I used China Glaze First Mate and one of my bundle monster plates. Here's a close up of the design on my thumb. So, what do you think? Do you like layering different tones of the same color like me?
A- Hello!! I've been wanting to paint my nails with glitter nail polish for quite awhile but it always stopped me the whole hard to remove thing. Anyways, I decided to try a gradient design with Amour's Rain Glitter which is considered to be pretty similar to OPI's Sparkle-icious. They are alike but Sparkle-icious has more gold glitter on it. Do you like it?
A- Hi! this week I joined this site called On Wednesdays we wear pink based on the Mean Girls dress code rule to wear pink nail polish on Wednesdays and I though it was a great idea. So, for my first manicure I have pink polka dots and bows. The base coat is Color Club's Who are you wearing? (one of my favorite nail polishes) and stamped the designs with China Glaze's Ahoy!. The polka dots were from the bundle monster plate BM19 and the bows from Konad's M59.

After a few days of having no idea what to do with my nails I stepped out of my comfort zone and drew The Simpsons on my nails. I think they turned out great considering I can't draw... at all! So what I did was pretty simple, I painted my nails yellow then added the top coat, with a fine point black Sharpie I drew all the characters on my nails (I do not have a black nail art pen) and then with a dotting tool I added the colors to the eyes, Homer's beard, March's hair and everything that wasn't yellow. Here's a couple of closer pics to the designs: What do you think? Do you like it?
