Happy Friday guys!!
I'm so excited the weekend is finally here that I couldn't wait any longer to share this mani with you. I recently ordered a candy corn sweater from Modcloth that I was obsessing over for the longest time and I new I had to match my nails to it. The base color for this mani is Butter London Lock In, the stamp is from WhatsUp Nails B023. I used Moyou London's white for the stamp and some Kleancolor metallics to color in the candy corns. I'm not going to lie, it took me awhile to do all decals but it was totally worth it. Hi all,
I'm back after a little break and a crazy storm, hope you all on the east coast stayed safe this week. So excited to start my holiday manicures early, I love themed designs and I definitely love the fall colors to come up with fun stuff, so the get ready for it I decided to create my first halloween mani. These are just simple, yet fun pumpkin nails, base color is Butter London Torch, stamped with the Moyou London Festive 14 plate and their Pumpkin stamping polish (for the stripes), then added the carved faces from the Bundle Monster BM S204 plate with black and gold holo polish. Hi guys,
With the summer getting closer by the day I'm starting to dust off my bright polishes for the season and I found this little gem in my stash. Butter London Sunnies has the perfect name, is a super bright sunflower yellow cream. Application was super easy, only 3 coats for coverage. For the double stamped leaves I used Moyou London's Tropical 14 and the Winter Green and Ever Green stamping polishes. Hi all,
I finally was able to blog again after a short vacay and a few long work days last week. So to start the week in a positive note I have a super sparkly and fun mani to share with you. This one took me a few more steps than usual but I was really please with how it turned out, I've seen a few bloggers do the double stamping, holo on top of black and I love the dimension that it gives to the nails and how perfectly imperfect it looks. For this I used Butter London Look In as a base, it's a dark indigo creme, then I added some Chameleon Mirror Nail Glitter Powder from Born Pretty Store, I think it's the 684 shade, since I didn't use gel polish it doesn't look like a mirror but you still get the chrome like effect. As for the stamp it was made with Moyou London's Illusion 08 plate, Bundle Monster Black and Color Club Harp on it. Hi Guys,
I've been trying to go over my collection looking for polishes that I haven't used, cause even though I don't have 1/3 of what I used to there's still a lot of untried polishes laying around and they need some love. For today's post I'm wearing Butter London Jaffa, this is a carrot orange creme, it dries super shiny, almost like a jelly but the coverage is great, I used 3 coats for these pics. Hi guys!!
I hope you had a great Valentine's Day, I didn't have big plans, my hubby and I don't take this holiday too seriously so we went out to explore Atlanta and get something to eat. I painted my nails with something simple for the ocasion cause I really wanted to use orange polish for some reason and I ended up with light pink hearts :) The base color I used is Butter London Silly Billy (gotta love that name) and stamped with my Gogo only plate and MDU Light Pink. I really liked the combination, it's valentine's day related but it also feels like a spring mani and I'm so ready for pastels and brighter colors. Hi guys,
I've been wearing this mani for almost a week (that's definitely a record for me) and I took pictures days ago but haven't gotten around to post anything, so before Valentine's Day is over here you have my second design of the holiday. For this mani I just did a 3 colored gradient using Nubar Pink Lily, Butter London Cake Hole and OPI Coca Cola Red sponged over Wet n Wild White. For the stamp I used MDU Black and Moyou London Mandalas 04 plate. I know mandalas are not valentine's "themed" but there are some hearts in there :) Hi guys
I'm back after a hectic January, I basically moved out of my apartment, sold all my stuff and moved to Atlanta, Georgia with my husband. I managed to take some of my polishes and plates with me so I won't have naked nails forever and I'm really excited to start building my nail polish collection again. For today's mani I used Butter London Black Knight as a base cause I wanted something different, not your typical white and pink color scheme, I stamped the hearts with MDU Barbie and Moyou London Pro XL 08 plate. I filled out the bigger hearts using a small dotting tool and Butter London Cake Hole. Check it out! Hi guys, I'm really excited about today's post cause I finally filmed another short tutorial and cause I really love how this mani turned out. It's inspired by Taylor Swift's outfit for this years VMAS (yes, I'm a swiftie). I gotta admit I didn't think I would do a houndstooth design in a long time cause I've used it several times before but when I saw her in the red carpet I knew I could use that for my nails, cause the pattern looked so festive and fun, also color appropriate for fall or a night out. What do you think of her outfit? I did a quick video tutorial for this mani that you can watch right here. I love how it sparkles and to be honest I never thought about a bronze to silver gradient before and I'm loving it, I'm pretty sure I can mix it up a bit for a halloween desing maybe... We'll see. Hope you enjoyed the video and the design. Let me know if you've ever been immediately inspired by someone's outfit like I was for this mani.
Thanks for reading ♥ Hi guys, I have my first official fall mani on the blog today, as much as I love bright colors I've been more inclined to dark or subtle dusty shades lately and I'm glad I can start wearing them now that it makes sense. For this design I used OPI Get Cherried Away from the Coca Cola collection and added the leafy decals from the Cici&Sisi26 plate. The stamp was made with MDU Bones and colored with Kleancolor Metallic Yellow and Butter London Marbs. I wish the intricate design of the leaves would show up more on the stamp, I guess the color I used for it is too light and blends with the metallic, I still like the combination of colors. What do you think? I'm definitely gonna try more dark colors now, cause I'm fair skinned and they make my nails pop. Or so I want to believe...
