Hello ladies! I know I know, I'm skipping some days but I'll make up for them, I pinky promise. I just wanted to at least post the last 2 days of the challenge on time with my fellow bloggers. I chose to make Splatter nails for today since I have actually never tried them before. I watched like 30 seconds of a tutorial this morning and then grabbed my straws and did this in the other 20 min to spare I had before coming to work. For the Splatter I used all China Glaze mostly from their Electropop collection: Make Some Noise, Gaga for Green, Kinetic Candy and Happy Go Lucky.
What do you think? Have you ever tried a splatter mani? If you have post a link to your blog on the comments cause I wanna see :) Now go check out the blogs for the other girls doing this challenge and see what they came up with: Lindsay: Polish & Diamonds Tawny: Nail Art By Tawny Tiffany: 2thelastdrop Holly: Nail Polish Rehab Nicole: My Nails. My Polish Happy New Year Everyone!! I'm excited for a new year of sharing my nail polish addiction with all of you. For my new year's manicure I had this really complex design planned in my head but when I went to do it I didn't like it... So I decided to go with something simple instead. I used Forever 21 Love & Beauty polish in Charcoal which is a black base with silver square glitter and then I added a couple of coats of Kleancolor's Purple Sparkle. Take a look: My new year's resolution is to post as many new things as possible on my blog. :-)
Hi, I've been wanting to post a design really bad lately and a couple of weeks ago I received my new plates from Shany (you can get them on Amazon) and I decided to give them a try. As a base I used Orly Frolic: Then I added the stamp with SH20 and OPI Lincoln Park After Dark and some white dots with a dotting tool for the flowers. Will you be checking out these plates on amazon?
Thank you for reading <3 Hi guys! I can't believe it's almost a month since my last post, been super busy working around 10 hours a day and shopping for the holidays. I hope everyone had a great Christmas, I certainly did. For today I have some new polish from Hits the Brazilian brand that has the best holos I've seen. Lucky for me my brother lives in brazil and he came for the holidays and got me 13 of those polishes for Christmas, no holos thou, but some great flakies, glitters and creams. _The first one I tried is a pastel yellow with tiny micro , number 219 limited edition. It's a great cream, application was really smooth and the brush is great. Without further a do: 219. I added the clear flakie which is called Lambada. Check it out. I tried another cream called Praia which means beach. It's a neon peachy orange. What do you think? Do you wish they would sell them in the States like every other brand as much as I do?
Hi ladies, It's been a busy couple of weeks and I haven't got the time to post anything. I went to Florida last week and got a bunch of new polish that I will be posting here. To start I have Zoya Marina: I always use three coats with my polishes but you can get away with two. Also I added two coats of NYC Starry Silver Glitter. What do you think? Would you wear this combo?
Hi ladies! Today is the happiest day of the year and I have the exact nails to match the day. They were inspired by my t-shirt for today. I used 2 coats of OPI Rainbow Connection and a coat of Sally Hansen Sheer Strawberry in between each coat. Take a look: And finally a pic of the T-shirt that started it. Have you tried Rainbow Connection yet? Does this combo makes you think Deborah Lippmann Candy Store?
Hi everyone, I'm so happy for today's post. I painted my nails in a party design because tomorrow I'll celebrate my birthday with my family and I wanted something as funky as possible. For this design I used OPI Simmer and Shimmer and the BM 221 and Konad's black polish. Check it out: And a pic of this gorgeous polish by itself I was thinking that this would be a great design for New Years... Also, I wanted to share with you a few of the pics I've taken in the last few days but couldn't find the time to post sooner. Hi ladies, Today I just have a quick post from a polish I bought yesterday in a mini haul before going to work. It's Milani Goldie Locks which cost me $1 (That's basically why I got it). The formula is extremely sheer and watery, it took me like 6 or 7 thin coats to have the results in the pics, check it out: If you don't have the patience to apply 7 coats then this polish is still a good option for layering over white or maybe over some skin toned polish.
Hi ladies, For today I have my nail of the day and a few pics I've taken in the last couple of days from the China Glaze Let It Snow Collection. For the NOTD I used Sally Hansen Lively Lilac+ China Glaze Afterglow + BM 208 . Take a Look: And this is a pic of Lively Lilac before the nail art. And now let's move on to this year's Let It Snow Collection from China Glaze, I still have to swatch 3 more polishes from this collection but I wanted to share what I have so far. Hi ladies! After swatching one too many reds from the OPI Muppets Collection I needed a lighter color on my nails so for today I have Essie Absolutely Shore from this year's Summer Collection. Look at the swatch below. Obviously I added a stamp to this polish, in this case I used a silver polish and the Bundle Monster 213 plate and the little dots were made with a dotting tool and China Glaze Passion. If you want to buy this polish head to transdesign, they currently have all Essie polishes half off ($4)
