Hi guys,
I have a super fun fall manicure today, it is somewhat inspired by a mani @debriz posted on her instragram a few days ago, her's had a double stamp and it was prettier but I still like mine a lot. For this one I used Essie No Place Like Chrome as base and then did a gradient using a few Kleancolor Metallic shades, I didn't want a linear gradient so I used 4 different colors in different sections. To finished I stamped the leafy design with black and the What's Up Nails plate B021. Happy Friday guys!!
I'm so excited the weekend is finally here that I couldn't wait any longer to share this mani with you. I recently ordered a candy corn sweater from Modcloth that I was obsessing over for the longest time and I new I had to match my nails to it. The base color for this mani is Butter London Lock In, the stamp is from WhatsUp Nails B023. I used Moyou London's white for the stamp and some Kleancolor metallics to color in the candy corns. I'm not going to lie, it took me awhile to do all decals but it was totally worth it. Hi guys!
My last mani of the year is inspired by the Ball Drop of New York City, I've never been there but I've watched it on TV and it's always such a beautiful, bright thing that I just thought it would be perfect for the occasion. The black pattern is from the Bundle Monster BM 21 plate stamped with MDU Black and colored with Color Club HAlo Hues Shades. For the glittery fingers I used a black base and Kleancolor Midnight Seduction. Hi guys,
I have another New Year's mani today, I tried a million different options for fireworks stamps and none of them looked good enough so I decided to keep it simple cause I was getting frustrated and couldn't make it work. I pulled this beauty from my stash called Lady of the Lake by AEngland cause of the awesome holo sparkle it gives out, and added a simple gold starry stamp from the Moyou London Festive 06 plate and with China Glaze Passion that I mixed with some Kleancolor Metallic Red to give it a little extra color like fireworks have. It's not the best design but I think it can work out if you don't have time to do a full on, out of this world mani. What do you think? Hi guys, I couldn't resist this stamp when I first saw it and I knew I was gonna make it work even in my small nails. I think it turned out great and the boy and girl kissing is the cutest thing ever, maybe I can re-use it next year for Valentine's and add some hearts with a red background, it would look cute, right? For this mani I used Nubar Earthen as base color and Kleancolor Metallic Black for the kissing stamp from the Cici&Sisi29 plate. Accent white flowers are from the Cici&Sisi 28 plate. I kinda like splitting my images in half and using them in 2 different fingers, it's less work and it looks so good cause they always compliment each other. More coming soon.
Thanks for reading <3 Hi guys, I have my first official fall mani on the blog today, as much as I love bright colors I've been more inclined to dark or subtle dusty shades lately and I'm glad I can start wearing them now that it makes sense. For this design I used OPI Get Cherried Away from the Coca Cola collection and added the leafy decals from the Cici&Sisi26 plate. The stamp was made with MDU Bones and colored with Kleancolor Metallic Yellow and Butter London Marbs. I wish the intricate design of the leaves would show up more on the stamp, I guess the color I used for it is too light and blends with the metallic, I still like the combination of colors. What do you think? I'm definitely gonna try more dark colors now, cause I'm fair skinned and they make my nails pop. Or so I want to believe...
Thanks for reading <3 Hi guys, Today I have another cute design from my Cici & Sisi 25 plates. The more I work with the images in these plates the more I like them, they're just too much. This little bunny was made using the decal technique, the stamp was made with Kleancolor Metallic Black and then I used a few colors to paint it: NOPI Selena, NOPI Lay it on the Lime, Nubar Yellow Primrose, and Butter London Silly Billy. Base color for this accent nail is Color Club Meet me at the Rink. The squishy orange polish on my nails is Butter London Silly Billy, I only used two coats for full coverage of this gorgeous crelly and stamped the accents with MDU Bones. The little bow like stamps are actually from the same bunny image on the plate. I'm actually in love of how this design turned out, I think it would be awesome for easter next year (but I'm getting ahead of myself)
Don't forget to check out my full review on these Cici&Sisi plates here. Thank you for reading! ♥ Hi guys, today I have a pretty swatch for you cause I haven't been feeling 100% lately, I got an ear infection and it gives me really painful headaches so actually thinking about a manicure is difficult. For these swatches I used 3 coats and no top coat. Application was super easy and the polish didn't last forever to dry as it usually happens with this brand. Kleancolor might not be the most popular brand out there but they have some really pretty colors and their metallic line is amazing for stamping. What do you think?
Thanks for reading ♥ Hi guys, While we don't have 4 seasons in Costa Rica like the rest of the world I love to see the colors changing in fashion and being a sucker for themed manicures I'm excited to welcome fall with all it's oranges, golds, pumpkins and spider webs. To start moving away from neon and more into earthy colors I made up this manicure which makes the transition easier. The base color is OPI Don't Bossa Nova Me Around stamped with Essie Penny Talk & Nothing Else Metals using plate Cici&Sisi09. Red accent was stamped using Kleancolor Metallic Red. I was very proud of the color combo and it was a super cute manicure to wear without being too flashy. What's your favorite nail polish or nail art season?
Thanks for reading ♥ Hi guys, This is gonna be a short post cause life right know is not the best. My father in law passed away last week and it's been hard to deal with it all. Today I have an old polish that I re-discovered in my stash recently, it was left there untried and ignored for a over 6 months cause Kleancolor doesn't have the best formula and smells funky but I still buy it cause it's super cheap here. Mango is exactly that, a mango colored creme polish that dries sort of matte but with a top coat ends up looking super squishy and gorgeous. This color impressed me, I can see myself doing some pretty nail art for halloween or just for bright manis. Now back to my regular life.
