Hello!

Today I have for you guys one of the 4 Essence polishes for the Twilight Breaking Dawn movie that my bestie Lindsay (@polishanddiamond) sent me as a gift. Let me tell you this girl has to be one of my favorite people ever, she's just amazing.

Anyways, this polish blew my mind. It's filled with flakies that shift color from purple to green on a dark, almost black, jelly base. Application was super smooth and I only needed 2 coats for full opacity. Take a look:
I also took a picture in the shade for you to check the flakies going on in this beauty.
I simply love this polish and to be honest I also loved twilight so it's a win win for me.

Now if you want more pretty polishes you can visit my little franken store on this link.

Happy Monday!

I wanna show you today one of the nail polishes my mom got me from Brazil. Let me tell you, I was really impressed by how much I liked it, I was expecting some sheer yellow that would need a lot of coats for full coverage and instead I was surprised by a creamy super pigmented polish that only needed 2 coats for full opacity.

This polish is from a brand called Quem Disse, Berenice and the color is Verdo. It looks a bit more green in real life.
As you can see I added lighting stamp using Bundle Monster BM317 and Zoya Marina. What do you think?

Hi,

I found some time to paint my nails today and I decided to use one of my latest frankens called Strawberry Sorbet. This is a barbie pink jelly base with lots and lots of shimmery micro flakes that just makes it look yummy. I like it in the bottle and I like it even better on my nails. Take a look:
The first 2 picture are in direct sunlight and the next one is in the shade so you can tell all the pretty shimmer that's going on in the polish.
Now I'm gonna go stare at my pretty nails a little bit more.

Hello!

I'm so glad to be able to post something today. Basically this is my way of saying thank you to all my lovely followers on IG cause I found out today that I have 700 followers Wohooo!!! If you're not a follower yet you can find me @moriesnailart

So I wanted to show you another of the franken polishes I've been working on which I called Blue Monday, I think this is the one I'm most excited about since it's just so pretty. This is a light blue base with some square silver glitter and blue glitter. For these photos I used 2 coats and no top coat.

I also took a couple of picture of the bottle :D
What do you think? Do you like creamy glitters or just clear based glitters better.

Hi ladies,

Can't believe it's been over a week since I posted something on my blog but with school, work and everything else I've been either too busy doing stuff or sleeping.

Today I'm gonna show you my first franken for spring, I seriously got tired of all the dark colors in the last collections and decided to do my own. This color is called Amaze-Mint thanks to @nails4dummies who gave me the great idea on Instagram after I posted a pic and asked for help on how to name it.

Basically it is a minty creamy base with small gold glitter, for this pics I am using 3 coats.
And this is a close up of the glitter situation in the bottle.
I seriously love this polish, I think I wanna make it more sheer so the glitter from previous coats shows up but for being my first creamy glitter I'm pretty happy.

What do you think?

Hello!

After a long hectic weekend I'm back to posting. I've been thinking what to do on my nails for Valentine's, I usually try a few designs and then choose one for the actual date but I haven't been all creative lately till I though I wanted to do my own Valentine's glitter with a mix of light and dark pink holo glitters.

I really like how it turned out, I swear it looks way better in real life. Check it out:
And finally a picture of the polish in the shade so you can actually see it better.
Can't stop staring at this polish, you can certainly wear it by itself or on top of another pink polish for extra sparkle. What do you think? Have you ever made your own polish?

Hello!

The other day I decided I wanted to swatch my entire collection by brand and someone on twitter suggested that I should start alphabetically by brand. The first brand on my stash is A England which I seriously love, they have the most amazing scattered holo nail polishes too bad I only have a couple cause they're expensive :(

For today's mani I have Tristam which is a gorgeous dark blue scattered holo, I only needed 2 easy coats for full opacity.
I sort of felt like doing a holo inception and stamped holo over holo so I used Color Club's Harp and stam[ped some stars on it but it was too much I think and the stars bare showed. It all just looked like a holographic explosion! Not that I'm complaining.
I love how sparkly it looks even thou the design is not really noticeable, I should try this more often. Have you ever done a holo inception like this?

Hi ladies,

It's finally Wednesday, the only day a week that I don't have to go to school and that makes me happy. I was checking this page called design seeds the other day cause I always look for ideas on how to combine colors to paint my nails with and I came into this green/beige tones palette that caught my eye and I knew I had just the right colors in my collection.

For this mani I used mostly China Glaze in Knotty, For Audrey and Re fresh Mint for the stripes, I made them with tape one layer at a time if you're wondering.  And the stamp is from Bundle Monster BM-315 and Color Club Nothing but Truffle.
I got a lot of compliments from my friends at work with this mani and I really like how it turned out. What do you think?

Hello,

A couple of days ago I posted a picture of this polish on Instagram and I'm finally getting around to do a full post with somewhat better pictures. I got this polish a few months ago and it's been sitting there on my untried pile since, what a huge mistake that was.

This is just beautiful, so delicate but with a little sparkle, love!

I have 3 coats of the polish in this pic.
I've always wanted to do a glitter gradient so I tried... Can't say I'm thrilled with the results but it wasn't a total failure like I expected.
I also wanted to tell you that I started school yesterday and I might not be able to post as much as I would like to, still you will always find me on twitter and instagram if you wanna say hi and make my day :D

Happy Sunday!

I love Sunday's you get to fully relax and do whatever you want like paint your nails all day, right? I've been trying to go through my stash and give a little love to some long forgotten pretties that I have only used once or twice since I got them and this is shockingly one of those polishes.

For Audrey is one of my first polishes I got 2 years ago when I first started painting my nails and it's as beautiful as the first day no matter how many turquoise polishes are out there.
I added a half moon type stamp to it cause I wanted something extra but I didn't wanted to cover the color with a full stamp. This is using China Glaze Passion and BM-215 plate.
I'm gonna go enjoy the rest of my Sunday now. Hope you have an awesome rest of your day.
